In this game, I play the queen’s gambit where I sacrificed my bishop to win the game. These are a few instances in chess when sacrificing your pieces are necessary to win the game.
Caro-Kann 5/10/2020
This is a chess game where the Caro-Kann variation takes a messy turn.

White’s move 21 (Bxg6) was a killer move. Black’s pawn on h7 cannot take back the bishop on g6 since it is pinned by the white’s queen. Bishop on g6 pins the black’s rook to the queen and threatens checkmate on h7. Pin to win.
