This famous game is played between American chess master, Paul Morphy and two strong amateurs: the German noble Karl II, Duke of Brunswick and the French aristocrat Comte Isouard de Vauvenargues. This game is also known as the opera game since it was played at an opera house in Paris, during the opera Norma. In this game, Paul Morphy masterfully sacrifices his own pieces to win the match.
